Engagement

From first conversation to tested recovery.

A structured engagement designed to leave your team with executable code, recovery evidence and operational ownership—not only a strategy document.

Six-stage journey

Clarity first. Automation second. Evidence throughout.

Consult

No AWS access required. Discuss critical applications, current recovery, objectives, constraints and the most useful next step.

30-60 minutes

Assess

Map scope, dependencies, data path, identity boundaries, gaps and evidence needed for a business case.

Typically 1-2 weeks

Design

Produce target architecture, Active-Warm posture, security model, sequence and implementation backlog.

Scope-dependent

Build

Implement discovery, Terraform generation, mapping, promotion, pipelines, orchestration and runbooks.

Typical DRaaS onboarding: 4-7 months

Test

Recover, validate three tiers, measure objectives, document findings and tune warm capacity.

Repeated timed exercises

Handover

Deliver code, architecture, evidence, runbooks and knowledge transfer with optional advisory support.

Detailed build stage

Multi-account. Multi-Region. Built in dependency order.

An illustrative 16-week build window after assessment and design. Workstreams overlap; the exact sequence depends on the estate, service availability, recovery objectives and which container platforms are in scope.

Configure once. Operate continuously.

Replication rules and target-account foundations are established early, then monitored as production changes.

Capture configuration. Recover state.

Terraform reconstructs service configuration; data protection uses the appropriate native replication, backup or restore path.

Recreate trust deliberately.

IAM, keys and certificates are mapped into the recovery account rather than copied blindly across security boundaries.

Scope note: Amazon ECS and Amazon EKS can run in parallel when both are required. Kubernetes pods are not treated as durable infrastructure; the recovery source is the declared workload state, persistent data and tested platform configuration.

Indicative delivery

Typical DRaaS onboarding: 4-7 months.

Focused DR-as-Code projects may be shorter; complex enterprise DRaaS onboarding can run beyond seven months. Timing depends on service count, data topology, cross-account controls, test windows and remediation. The initial consultation can identify a smaller pilot.
